Well, Hello!

For those that don't know, my name is Amy, and I am the quilter behind The Wrinkled Quilt. I have been designing my personal quilts and quilt blocks since I first started quilting. I have a lot of whatever that quality is that says, "Oh, I can do that!" and so I do! Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't, but over the years it has forced me to learn so many techniques that have made me a better quilter.

However, in all the years I've been creating, I've never created a full quilt pattern for anyone else to use. My methods in the past have just involved a vague direction, a stack of fabric, and a whole lot of "Let's see where this goes." Never a written set of directions.

All that to say that sitting down to purposefully design a quilt, map it out, create thoughtful directions, and create illustrations has been SO INCREDIBLY FUN! My first pattern uses three different shaped blocks, and each one of them has a special meaning.

I am so excited to share my debut quilt pattern with you, Country Love. Stay tuned for updates as I work through this process one seam at a time.

Until next time!
